Challenge
In order for PORTAL | Ascend to expand its offering, the company sought a combined infrastructure and hosting services provider that could deploy the infrastructure required to build and deliver complex, compliant products. It was imperative the partner be a SAS70 Type II hosting provider with the ability to deliver patient care-sensitive data services 24/7 nationwide. Due to PORTAL | Ascend’s healthcare focus, it was also essential that the solution support PORTAL | Ascend’s mandate to maintain HIPAA compliance.
